Ohio man due in court in wife's hospital shooting
AKRON, Ohio (AP) -- A man accused in the suspected mercy killing of his wife at an Ohio hospital is due to be arraigned.
John Wise faces charges of aggravated murder, murder and felonious assault in the Aug. 4 shooting of his wife at Akron General Medical Center.
He's scheduled to be arraigned Friday morning by video in Akron.
A friend says his wife, Barbara, had been disabled by a stroke when he shot her while she was in the intensive care unit.
