Zimmerman released on bail under stricter terms
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- George Zimmerman has been released on bail again but under much tighter restrictions than the last time he was released after being charged in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin.
When Zimmerman was freed in April he had a curfew and couldn't have guns but was allowed to leave Florida and enjoyed many other freedoms.
His release Friday requires him to stay in Seminole County and be electronically monitored and forbids him from opening a bank account, obtaining a passport and going to the airport.
Zimmerman has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Martin, an unarmed black teenager he encountered and fought with while patrolling as a neighborhood watch volunteer in Sanford, Fla.
