BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) -- His conviction on 45 counts involving child sex abuse means Jerry Sandusky will likely spend the rest of his life in prison, but the mother of one his accusers says "Nobody wins. We've all lost."
The retired Penn State assistant football coach was taken to jail in handcuffs after the verdict last night. He'll be sentenced in about three months, but the mandatory minimum sentence for the charges mean Sandusky is likely to spend the rest of his life in prison.
One of the jurors says it was the credibility of the accusers that solidified the case against him. Joshua Harper told NBC's "Today" show that the victims who testified were "very convincing."
Harper says as the verdict was read Sandusky appeared to be accepting his fate.
Defense lawyers say they will appeal.
