UPDATE: Missing man's body found in Colorado River

UPDATE: The body of Ricky Dean Crea Jr. was found Wednesday morning in the Topock Gorge area of the Colorado River, south of the Topock Marina.

Foul play is not suspected at this time. The Mohave County medical examiner will conduct an autopsy.

ORIGINAL STORY

TOPOCK, Ariz. (KTNV) -- Mohave County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s assistance in locating Ricky Dean Crea Jr., 32, of Topock, Arizona.
 
Crea was reported missing Monday morning at about 10:38 a.m.

Crea was to meet a friend near the Topock Marina Sunday around 4 p.m. His friend showed and located Crea’s parked truck. His friend also located personal items belonging to Crea down by the river. His friend waited many hours for him, but Crea never showed up.
 
On Monday morning, his friend returned to the area and noticed Crea’s vehicle was still parked there and his personal items were still down by the river and that's when she called the Sheriff's Office.
 
Late Monday morning and into the late afternoon, deputies conducted an immediate search of the waterways including the shoreline and the Topock area without success.   Deputies confirmed that Crea was not at home and he did not show up to work.
 
Department of Public Safety Helicopter Ranger from Kingman responded and conducted an aerial search.
 
Deputies are continuing to search the waterways including the shorelines downstream.
 
No one saw Crea enter the water. The Sheriff’s Office is treating this as a missing person.  

An Attempt to Locate was issued to law enforcement for Crea.
 
Crea is a white male, 5'8" at 145 pounds with green eyes and short brown hair with a mohawk hair style.
