A viewer called 13 Action News Monday night with concerns about medical supply waste found inside the dumpster of an apartment complex near Flamingo Road and Swenson Street.
The supplies consisted of needles, vials, and gloves. There were names written on the vials.
Apartment security called the police after discovering the supplies. Officials have since contacted a biohazard unit to investigate the materials.
Police have taken a crime report for illegal dumping. They will continue to investigate the apartment complex throughout Tuesday morning.
