McDonald's is hoping to use Snapchat to hire at least 1,000 people for summer jobs across the Las Vegas valley.

With a boost in summer business, the company will need more local employees in Southern Nevada between June and August.

They're getting creative by using a Snapchat ad to get people to apply.  The way it works is Snapchat posts a Snapchat story with short, 10-second snaps from employees talking about why they enjoy working there.

From there, they can click on a link in the app to apply for the job online and then be connected for an person interview at the McDonald's location they want to work for.

Tony Broadbent with McDonald's even has his own short Snapchat-style pitch, saying "you can apply at a platform that works for you and have a future that works for you."

The ad went live today, and so far Broadbent isn't sure how many people have actually responded to it so far.
