Las Vegas police are searching for a couple who they believe may be linked to a fatal stabbing Wednesday night.

Police say an altercation happened when a man and woman arrived at a residence in the 2000 block of Santa Rita Drive before 8:30 PM. The fight began outside but the stabbing happened inside the home and one of the homeowners called 911.

When police arrived, they found a Hispanic male in his 40s suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to UMC Trauma but did not survive his injuries.

He was identified as 41-year-old Vensant Laudis Diaz.

A man and woman who also live at the home with the deceased male described the suspects as a white female and a black male. Police say the male is about 6'4" with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a red bandana with a baseball cap pulled over it.

Police say they know the suspects 'street names' and are actively searching for them. They are considered armed and dangerous and ask that anyone with information not attempt to approach the suspects, but call 911 immediately.
