A man was shot to death at the Adobe Villas Apartments near Lake Mead Boulevard and Pecos Road, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Police say they received multiple phone calls about gunshots around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

Within two minutes, officers were on scene. They found a male in his late teens or early twenties dead on the ground in the courtyard at Adobe Villas.

Police say a witness told them they saw a guy run from the scene immediately after the shooting. No one has been arrested yet.

Neither the person of interest nor the victim have been identified. Police are unsure if either of the men live at Adobe Villas Apartments.

There was a rumor the victim did not have pants on when he was found, but police confirmed that wasn't the case.

The victim was identified by the Clark County coroner on Friday as 21-year-old Kevin Camacho from North Las Vegas.
