After the man set the trailer on fire, he ran into a neighbor's trailer. Investigators aren't sure why. Neighbors say the man suffers from mental illness.
The man was taken to the hospital with burns. The resident's door, oven and floor all had drops of blood and a trail of it leads to the back room.
No one else was hurt, and the fire did not spread to any nearby trailers.
"In a mobile home park like this the houses are very close together," Patty Bellis said. "I have no doubt if there had been any wind at all there'd have been several houses involved."
