The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Henderson Police Department, North Las Vegas Police Department and Nevada Highway Patrol are doubling up its officers following Sunday's shootings in Baton Rouge.

At least three officers were killed and another three injured.

LVMPD had doubled up after five officers were killed in Dallas July 7. Many were still doubled up when the Baton Rouge shooting happened Sunday.

LVMPD also sent out a tweet saying their thoughts and prayers are with their brothers and sisters in blue.

Henderson police said while there have been no credible reports of threats to its officers, Chief Patrick Moers order all patrols and responses to calls for service be done by two-officer units as a safety precaution.

“We extend our thoughts and prayers to the Baton Rouge community and police force,” Moers said in a statement. “In Henderson, we must all come together to help prevent any tragedies.”

North Las Vegas police also sent out a tweet saying their thoughts and prayers are with their brothers and sisters in Baton Rouge.

Nevada Highway Patrol also tweeted their support for the officers in Baton Rouge.
