San Jose, Calif. (KTNV) -- The University of Nevada, Las Vegas' Runnin' Rebels spent the day on Wednesday getting ready for their game today with California.

Many fans from Las Vegas made the trip to cheer on their favorite team.

The Runnin' Rebels took to the court yesterday to practice before the game today. They also took time to address the media.

UNLV forward Anthony Marshall said during the press conference that it was an honor to be competing in this year's tournament.

This will be the final tournament for Mojave High School graduate Marshall. He has been to the NCAA men's basketball tournament four times.

For others on the team, such as Anthony Bennett, it is a whole new experience.

Bennett went to Findlay Prep and is expected to play for the NBA.

Head coach Dave Rice acknowledges that Cal is a strong team but he says that his Runnin' Rebels are prepared.

The Rebels beat Cal by one point at the buzzer this past December.
