LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A Hungarian man is due before a Nevada judge on multiple charges alleging he robbed a Las Vegas bank with a gun in each hand, shot his way into one home and dodged bullets fired by an armed homeowner in another, before he was shot by police and arrested.

Tamas Horvath was scheduled to enter pleas Wednesday to 10 charges in an indictment handed up March 8 by a Clark County District Court grand jury. He could face decades in state prison if he is convicted.

The 40-year-old Horvath was hospitalized after being wounded during his Feb. 2 arrest in a neighborhood several miles west of the Las Vegas Strip.

Police say he told investigators he was from Hungary and lived in North Hills, Calif., on expired immigration visas.
