Woman in wheelchair hit by car near Nellis & Harris
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A woman in a wheelchair was hit by a car early this morning on North Nellis Boulevard near East Harris Avenue in the eastern part of the valley.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the woman was headed north on Nellis with the flow of traffic, straddling the travel lanes.
A car hit her from behind at a relatively low speed and she was thrown from the chair.
She was transported to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The incident was reported at 3:33 a.m. this morning.
There is no information yet if the driver will be cited.
