Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Henderson police have arrested a suspect in the attempted kidnapping at a local park over the weekend.

James H. Allen was arrested Tuesday at about 2:15.

Police say Allen is a 30-year-old Boulder City resident.

Investigators believe said he grabbed a 6-year-old girl as she was leaving a bathroom at Mountain View Park on Wigwam Parkway Sunday morning.

The girl was able to scream for help and get away, and the man fled the scene.

Several people saw him lingering at the park prior to the incident.

A concerned citizen called police after seeing the story on the news, giving police information on Allen's identity.

James Allen was booked at the Henderson Detention Center on charges for attempted kidnapping, burglary and child abuse. He is being held without bail.
