Fire academy class won't graduate after cheating scandal
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A 14-member class at the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Academy won't graduate after a cheating scandal earlier this year.
The fire academy graduation scheduled for February 14 was suspended after allegations the class cheated on a written test.
An investigation was launched. As a result, city officials decided not to certify the class.
City officials said they will begin the process of recruiting another academy.
The 14 members of that class will be recovered for their losses.
