Coroner identifies 17-year-old girl killed by hit-and-run driver
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner's office has identified the 17-year-old girl killed during a hit and run early Sunday morning as Alexis Monasterio.
The official cause of death is still pending. Monasterio was from Las Vegas and a student at East Tech High School, according to friends.
The incident happened just after midnight March 17 near the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Stillwater Bridge Street.
The driver of the car that hit Monasterio did not stop and is being sought by police.
