Crews called to house fire in North Las Vegas
North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The North Las Vegas Fire Department responded to a house fire Sunday afternoon.
It happened on Kidd Street, near Cheyenne Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard.
No injuries were reported.
Crews said there was a large amount of building supplies in the back yard, which caught fire and then spread to power lines.
"Nevada Energy left the scene, they stated the power is still in affect. There was no termination of power to any of the residents," said Jay Wittwer, battalion chief with North Las Vegas Fire.
The cause of the fire was still being investigated.
The people who live there were not home at the time.
Damage was estimated at $10,000.
