Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local non-profit is getting help from one of the Valley's longest running car dealerships.

Saturday, Gaudin Ford held a car show to benefit the Golden Retriever Rescue Southern Nevada.

For the last eight years, they have rescued more than 1,500 dogs.

Officials said last year in particular was a difficult one, with so many dogs left in homes abandoned by foreclosure.

But that shouldn't stop families from looking to take in a Golden Retriever.
