School district hires firm to search for new superintendent
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County School District is one small step closer to a new superintendent.
The board has hired Omaha-based McPherson and Jacobson to search for the right person.
It is the same firm that found outgoing superintendent Dwight Jones, who resigned unexpectedly to care for his sick mother.
The newly-appointed interim superintendent Pat Skorkowsky talked about the school district's future yesterday.
Skorkowsky will be allowed to apply for the superintendent's job.
School board members are still deciding if the search should remain local or go national.
