Unemployment rate continues to fall for Nevada
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The latest jobless numbers this morning show that Nevada's unemployment rate decreased to 9.7 percent in January.
That is down from 9.8 percent in December.
Approximately 132,600 people are currently unemployed in Nevada according to the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation.
This is the 18th straight month that the state has seen a decline in the unemployment rate.
