FALLON, Nev. (AP) -- One of the oldest theaters in northern Nevada is being threatened with foreclosure.

The Fallon Theatres opened in 1920 as the vaudeville and silent-movie house in the rural town about 60 miles east of Reno.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports it's scheduled to be auctioned at the Churchill County Courthouse on April 11 unless owners Bob and Mary Beth Erickson reach a refinancing agreement with their lenders.

Erickson says he has a balloon debt payment. He says he's been unable to keep up with the cost of upgrading digital equipment and other business losses.

The 10,000-square-foot complex with two screens is the only movie theater in Churchill County.
