Police target dangerous intersections
LAS VEGAS, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are cracking down on drivers at two intersections they say are very dangerous. Police say they will be on patrol at the intersections of Flamingo Road and Decatur Boulevard along with Charleston and Lamb boulevards.
They say these two valley intersections have a lot of speeders, distracted and even drunk drivers. They began targeting the intersection Monday.
Our cameras were out Tuesday and caught people talking while driving and even some close calls with pedestrians.
Those who travel in the area say it's not always safe out there. Extra enforcement at the intersections ends at the end of May.
