Driver in deadly weekend crash makes first court appearance
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Arturo Castillo, the man accused of drunken driving after a crash that killed a 15-year-old, made his first court appearance on Tuesday.
Castillo, 23, appeared before a justice court judge, who set bail at $250,000.
Police said Castillo admitted to drinking and smoking marijuana before the crash near Lake Mead and Rainbow Boulevards.
Robert Lee Brown, 15, was killed in the crash.
Castillo's next court date was set for March 19.
