MADD urges safety this St. Patrick's Day
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is urging Las Vegas residents to make a safety pledge this St. Patrick's Day.
The organization is asking the community to pledge to be a designated driver, or to not drive after drinking.
Last year, 38 people were killed in drunk driving crashes on St. Patrick's Day nationwide, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Admission.
MADD says St. Patrick's Day is one of the most dangerous times of the year for drunk driving fatalities.
