Local bakery hosting fundraiser for childhood cancer research
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Freed's Bakery is hosting a unique fundraiser to collect money for childhood cancer research this week.
The bakery is inviting customers to pay whatever they want for cookies in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Proceeds from the cookie sales will support the St. Baldrick's Foundation.
Specialty treats include clover-shaped cookies with green crystal sugar for a suggested donation of $2 each.
The fundraiser takes place Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Freed's Bakery is located at 9815 S. Eastern Ave., inside the Target shopping center.
