Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are stepping up enforcement at two intersections in Las Vegas over the next several weeks.

The intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Lamb Boulevard along with Decatur Boulevard and Flamingo Road were chosen after authorities reviewed data on collisions.

Officers will be conduction extra enforcement at those intersections now through May 22.

Police will be on the lookout for drivers who are speeding, impaired, using cell phones or ignoring traffic other control devices.

The extra enforcement is sponsored by the Joining Forces Grant.
