Steven Brooks no longer employed with the City of Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Embattled state lawmaker Steven Brooks is no longer an employee with the City of Las Vegas.
That's according to a city spokesperson, who released the following statement Monday:
"Steve Brooks is no longer a city employee. In keeping with standard practice regarding personnel matters, the city is unable to elaborate further on his separation from the organization."
Brooks was accused of threatening a colleague in the state legislature. Since then, he's also been treated for undisclosed medical issues and been involved in a domestic disturbance.
