Coroner identifies woman killed Sunday afternoon on I-15
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The woman that was killed Sunday afternoon in a crash on Interstate 15 near Cheyenne Avenue has been identified as 31-year-old Rebecca Steeprow from Las Vegas.
The accident happened at about 2:50 p.m. and caused major traffic delays for NASCAR fans trying to leave Sunday's big race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, alcohol may have played a factor. They found several open containers in the Steeprow's vehicle.
Steeprow died after she crashed into a tractor trailer.
