Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local immigration rights group is doing its part to help Latinos in the Valley get informed.
Dream Big Vegas held an event Saturday at the East Las Vegas Community Center.
The organization formed in response to the Dream Act's passage almost a decade ago.
Saturday's session was just one of several held each year.
"Unfortunately the Latino community, I feel, does not have enough information or does not go out there to look for it, so we are bringing it to them," said Lorena Palos, Dream Big Vegas.
