Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- The local woman killed earlier this week by her ex-husband was remembered by friends and family Saturday.
A private funeral service for Renee Bassett took place at Christ the King Catholic Church.
Henderson police said Bassett's ex-husband shot and killed her Tuesday, before killing himself.
The couple leaves behind two children, 12 and 13-year-old boys.
Bassett's family said her kids were her passion.
