Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- It was all smiles Saturday as race cars took their turn at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, something NASCAR fans waited for all day Friday.
As the Sam's Town 300 got underway, fans were all about enjoying every minute of the day.
Saturday allowed fans to get a close up view of their favorite drivers and cars, see celebrities making appearances and even some celebrity impersonators.
But all the fun was tentative for some fans, who still remembered the rain that caused the qualifying and practices to get canceled Friday, and hope it doesn't happen anymore this weekend.
The sun did shine through Saturday, and that has many fans excited for Sunday's race, the Kobalt Tools 400.
Sam Hornish (Car No. 12) won the NASCAR Sam's Town 300 on Saturday.
