Taxi drivers on strike continue working with arbitrator
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Getting to and from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway could be an issue this weekend, due to a continued taxi driver strike.
Union drivers with the Yellow-Checker-Star Taxi Cab Corporations have been behind closed doors since late Wednesday afternoon with an arbitrator.
It's the second day they've held the meeting.
They're trying to hammer out a contract with the company.
The drivers went on strike this weekend, after the company implemented a contract that was rejected by 70-percent of their members.
About 1,000 drivers are taking part in the walkout.
