Police looking for suspects after man shot interrupting burglary
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A man was shot in the arm Thursday morning on Copper Road after interrupting a burglary in progress.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the man and his wife went to check his son's house at about 6 a.m. near North Hollywood Boulevard and East Stewart Avenue.
When they arrived, they saw a vehicle parked in the driveway with a female in the driver seat. A second female then exited the house and confronted the man and his wife.
She got into the waiting vehicle, pulled a handgun, and fired at the couple. The suspects then fled the scene.
The man, who has not been identified, was transported to University Medical Center and is in stable condition.
LVMPD is requesting the public's help in locating the suspects. The driver was described as a Hispanic female in her late 20s with a muscular build.
The other woman was also described as a Hispanic female in her late 20s with long black hair.
The vehicle was a dark grey sedan with a shattered driver-side window.
