Young man and woman critically injured in motorcycle crash
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A man and woman, both 18 years old, are in critical condition at University Medical Center after a crash at about 8:29 p.m. Tuesday night at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard South and Silverado Ranch Boulevard.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Eriz Nzuwa was traveling southbound in the right travel lane of Las Vegas Boulevard on his 2012 Honda motorcycle. Tonya Leafham was his passenger.
A 2012 Mini Cooper, driven by 28-year-old Molly Potter, was in the outside left turn lane heading north on on Las Vegas Boulevard.
The motorcycle and car entered the intersection at the same time and crashed.
Nzuwa and Potter were ejected from the bike and sustained critical injured.
Potter suffered minor injuries and was also transported to UMC Trauma.
The collision is still under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
