Former postal worker sentenced for stealing credit card information
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A former postal worker was sentenced Tuesday for stealing credit and debit card information from the mail.
Jerome Harvey, 34, will spend two years in federal prison.
Harvey worked as a mail sorter for the U.S. Postal Service in Las Vegas during the summer of 2011. During that time, authorities said he stole 12 people's financial information and obtain $5,951.
He pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated identity theft in November, 2012.
Harvey is scheduled to report to prison by June 7, 2013.
