Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A moped rider was critically injured in a crash in North Las Vegas on Monday evening.
Police said the incident happened at about 6:50 p.m. on West Lake Mead Boulevard near Rancho. The moped was the only vehicle involved.
The victim, an adult male, was taken to University Medical Center to be treated for critical injuries.
Westbound Lake Mead Boulevard was shut down as police investigated.
