Students display skills at Nevada State Spelling Bee

Clark County, NV (KTNV) -- Some of the smartest and brightest kids in the Silver State took part in the Nevada State Spelling Bee on Saturday.

Amna Raza, a 7th grade student from Omar Haikal Islamic Academy in Clark County, took home the top prize.

41 students began in the competition.

Raza will go on to represent Nevada in June at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C.
