Dog lovers head to Henderson for "Bark in the Park"

Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- Hundreds of Valley residents and their dogs were in Henderson Saturday for the annual "Bark in the Park" event.
Henderson has hosted the event for ten years in a row.
Owners and their dogs were treated to contests, entertainment and demonstrations by the City of Henderson Police K-9 Unit.
They also held a dog adoption session.
Over the last nine years, more than 500 dogs have found new homes thanks to "Bark in the Park."
