Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The new location for the DISCOVERY Children's Museum is now open.
It's part of the Smith Center in downtown Las Vegas.
On Friday, there was a dedication of the new location, which included Governor Brian Sandoval and Mayor Carolyn Goodman.
The new museum is home to nine themed exhibition halls and many interactive exhibits.

The DISCOVERY Children's Museum is located at 360 Promenade Place in Las Vegas.
The grand opening is scheduled for March 9, 2013.
