Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas constable arrested for driving under the influence will not face charges and new video of his arrest may have helped his case.
The Nevada Highway Patrol has released the video taken during the arrest of John Bonaventura.
It shows the constable performing a field sobriety test last month. It also shows him being searched and arrested.
NHP says that someone had called about a car driving erratically on U.S. 95 near Boulder Highway and that is when they pulled Bonaventura over.
District Attorney Steve Wolfson now says Bonaventura may not have been driving the speeding vehicle that was reported. So, he will not face criminal charges.
