2 adults, 3 pets displaced after fire near Hualapai & Patrick
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Two adults and three pets were displaced early this morning after a fire in their home on Willowbrook Pond Road, near Hualapai Way and Patrick Lane.
The Clark County Fire Department received multiple calls at about 1:13 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke and fire in the garage of a single-story home.
The fire was intensified by fuel from a burning vehicle inside the garage and rapidly spread into the attic and roof area.
It took about 45 minutes completely extinguish the fire. Thirty-seven personnel from CCFD and Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded to the blaze.
One dog was killed in the fire. The American Red Cross is helping the residents of the home.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Damage is estimated at $250,000.
