Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The new water park is now growing in the southwest part of the Valley.
On Wednesday, Wet 'n' Wild Las Vegas received several of the colorful slides that will be ready for riders this summer.
The fiberglass slides for the Canyon Cliffs Experience are being placed together in a dirt lot.
When the attraction is complete, the ride with be more than four-stories in the air.
Riders will use launch capsules to plummet into a free fall, 33 feet per second.
The water park is scheduled to open this Memorial Day Weekend.
Wet 'n' Wild is now hiring for the upcoming season. More than 8,600 applications have been received so far.
