AT&T invests in better coverage throughout Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- AT&T has invested more than $200 million to expand mobile internet coverage and enhance network performance in the Las Vegas area.
According to the company, nearly 275 wireless networks were upgraded in 2012, including activating new cell sites and upgrading cell sites.
AT&T said the Las Vegas area saw a 40 percent improvement in keeping calls in the fourth quarter of 2012 compared with the same time in 2011.
The company continues to focus on improving mobile internet coverage in the region.
