Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Palm Mortuary is honoring civil rights leaders this week with the unveiling of their Garden of Dreams.
They held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday with Mayor Carolyn Goodman and Councilman Ricki Barlow.
The garden serves as a permanent monument, but it's just a small part of a larger scholarship program.
Beginning this year, the mortuary will reward a student for their commitment to community service and the ideals of freedom and equality.
