Las Vegas tech community prepares for SXSW
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas' local technology community is preparing to head to Austin, Texas for this year's South by Southwest festival.
The annual event combines film, music, networking, business, technology and more, drawing thousands of out-of-towners to Austin.
This year, tech companies in Las Vegas are joining together to make their presence felt.
The Vegas Tech community has events planned at SXSW including trade show presentations, a lounge and its own "blowout bash" to close out the festival.
Local entrepreneurs hope that by being a part of SXSW, they'll bring attention to the thriving tech community in Las Vegas.
