Coroner identifies man dead after Summerlin Prius crash
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Authorities have identified a 65-year-old man pronounced dead after his Toyota Prius went off the road and hit a power box in a Summerlin neighborhood.
Clark County officials say Louis Lawrence Polizzotti was behind the wheel when the crash happened about 2 a.m. Tuesday on Button Willow Drive, near Crooked Corner Street.
Authorities say the Prius was on Button Willow when it veered off the roadway, drove across a sidewalk and hit the box.
Polizzotti was taken to Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. An exact cause of death hasn't yet been released.
Officials say the driver may have had a medical episode before the crash.
