Las Vegas city leaders head to Carson City
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas city officials are heading to Carson City this week.
Mayor Carolyn Goodman, and a group of downtown business owners will be meeting with lawmakers to talk about reclaiming downtown as the locals' center of culture, commerce and community.
The group's main goal is to assure Assembly bill 50 gets passed. It would extend the City of Las Vegas' ability to refinance its debt over the next 15 years.
The assembly bill will be discussed Wednesday by the Assembly Government Affairs Committee.
