Henderson police officers to read to students this week
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Henderson police officers will take part in Nevada Reading Week by reading to local students this week.
Several officers will be reading to elementary schools throughout the week.
Nevada Reading Week is a statewide initiative aimed at encouraging young people to read. The yearly event takes place the last week of February, coinciding with Dr. Seuss' birthday.
