Second annual Death Valley Mars festival to be held first weekend of March
(KTNV) -- The second annual MarsFest (formerly Mars and the Mojave) is headed to Death Valley National Park March 1 to 3.
MarsFest is an annual science festival for all ages and interest levels. It will feature guest lectures by planetary scientists, field trips to other-worldly sites in the park, an expo with information booths, demonstrations and kids' activity tables, and ranger talks/guided hikes.
The festival will culminate with a panel discussion on the future of planetary exploration on earth and beyond.
