Deadline for NV Energy scholarship approaching
High school seniors have until March 1 to apply for NV Energy’s Powerful Partnerships Scholarship Program supported by the Public Education Foundation. NV Energy offers two $1,000 scholarships to every high school in Clark County.
NV Energy offers the Powerful Partnerships Scholarship Program to support the attainment of higher education for southern Nevada youth. Since the program’s inception in 2000, NV Energy has awarded nearly 600 scholarships. In 2012, $95,000 in scholarships was awarded to high school seniors in southern Nevada.
These one-time scholarships of $1,000 can be used at any accredited university, college or trade school. Applications must be received in-person or postmarked by Friday, March 1. The address is The Public Education Foundation, 3360 West Sahara Ave, Suite 160, Las Vegas, Nevada 89102.
